What is PVC?
PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is one of the most widely used plastics in the world, valued for being durable, lightweight, water- and chemical-resistant, and economical to produce. It can be manufactured in either a rigid form or a flexible form, depending on the additives used during production, which is why PVC appears across such a wide range of products, from rigid pipes and sheet material to flexible rolls, cables, and coatings. Leavona's range reflects this range: rigid grey and clear PVC sheet, and flexible clear PVC roll, produced under one brand.
Leavona Products
Leavona offers grey PVC sheets and clear PVC sheets. Both offer chemical resistance and electrical insulation properties, supporting use as insulating flooring in electrical rooms, data centers, and cleanrooms, as well as protective flooring and wall panelling in industrial settings. Additional applications include water treatment systems, machine guarding, and general-purpose barriers or partitions. The transparency of clear PVC sheet also supports use in equipment sight windows, signage, and display or counter partitions.
Clear PVC pipe and fittings are used in systems requiring visual inspection of the liquid being transported, most commonly to check for contamination, sediment, or air bubbles. This makes the product suited to water treatment plumbing, filtration and dosing systems, laboratory piping, and food and beverage lines where visual confirmation of flow is required.
The soft PVC roll (clear) is used as flexible curtains to section off areas or doorways in industrial plants, food processing facilities, and similar environments. Related applications include cold storage and refrigeration door strips, dust and noise separation between work zones, and insect or pest barriers at open doorways, while maintaining visibility through the material for safety around equipment and vehicle traffic.
